Lightroom Plugin Development

As a photographer, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is one of my most used pieces of software, it handles all of my workflow, from initial import from my memory cards, to assigning metadata, post processing and outputting for print or web. However, there are a few things that can make it better, this has largely been taken care of by the Lightroom community, but there are a few things that I still want it to do, so this weekend I will be experimenting with the Lightroom SDK

As I have never coded using the LUA language before I am going to start of slowly going through the tutorials supplied with the SDK and my end goal is to create an export plug in to upload image files straight to the DigitalPFP incoming FTP server, ready for them to collect my order and print. There is a standard FTP export plug in which comes with the SDK, but I will be modifying this a bit to move along the learning curve a bit.

I will let you know how I get on in my next update!
